Halloween Parade Float, "Puzzled," Takes 1st Place

The Effingham First Presbyterian Church is pleased to accept the first place award for its 2017 Halloween Parade Float in the Organization division.  The float entitled, “Puzzled,” featured a replica of the Effingham Cross with solved Rubik cube segments.  The base of the float was created from unsolved Rubik cubes.  Designers of the float, Darlene Logue and Rachelle Cekander, want to thank all the people who contributed to and worked on the float; Bob McGowan, Presby Youth, Sharon & Jay Macklin, Solomon & Matilda Dzakuma, Joe Freimuth, Ken Crawford, Yvonne Daume, Paulette Leisky, Ron Walls, Larry Logue, Donna Cunningham, Ellen Ritz, Connie & Sam Walton and JJ Myers.
